Wow! After months of sitting around thinking about how to create an inclusive scene in New Haven, we are finally doing it!

New Haven Noise Magazine is an independent arts magazine based in the Elm City. Our mission is to foster inclusive and safe spaces, point out and destroy hypocrisy and elitism when we see it, and most importantly promote and raise visibility of small artists and musicians in Connecticut.

New Haven has long had troubles keeping editorials like this alive… So here, we are keeping things quick and easy! Short and sweet so to say. What you can expect is regular blog posts on this website showcasing the best bands and artists coming through our area, a quarterly newspaper distributed for free around downtown New Haven, and a monthly show calendar of any small and independent acts in CT.

So keep your eyes open! Our plans for the future include all the above, as well as interesting interviews, articles, photos, videos, and opinions from the locals who have done serious thinking about our local art scene.
